New This Week
My never-ending project of archiving my reviews will continue. I'm going to start marking them Retro Reviews or something to separate them from my new reviews. I have nothing currently blogged ahead or scheduled and am flying by the seat of my pants. Next week will be a complete surprise for you and for me.
Real Life
Link Ups
I'm linking this post up to Stacking The Shelves, Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday & It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Netgalley Binge
I again successfully avoided the siren call of Netgalley these past two weeks! I know, I can hardly believe it myself. I think I'm at 82% or somesuch and will not request anything else until I'm caught up.
Audible & Ebook Buys
My Amazon wishlist & a few listed freebies got me again. Most of these books had price drops or were specials and somehow landed on my Ipad. I swear one of these days that thing is going to blow up from being over-stuffed! The Turner House was a daily deal over at Audible that I heard about on the Book Riot podcast a little while ago. I hope it's good seeing as I actually paid good money for it 👿
I hope you all have a five star week of reading and let me know if you've read any of these! I love to hear from you and will always visit back in return.
I'm hoping for a good reading week! It's good news that Buddy seems better-fingers crossed! I had a whole pile of new posts planned but I think I'll just start them in January to give me more time to work on a few of them!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a plan. I wish I were half as organized. I used up all of my planned posts the last few weeks. One of these days I'll get it together!
DeleteWe both had a successful week of staying away from Netgalley! :) I think we deserve a sticker...lol.:) Enjoy your reads!
ReplyDeleteStormi
Hey, congrats Stormi! It's a very hard thing to do :)
DeleteI'm trying, with mostly success, to stay away from requesting over at NG. I have so many over there to review yet! I do sometimes grab a few that are continuations of some favorite series, but thankfully those are spread out. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to resist the temptation of new books so I have learned that I just have to stay away :(
DeleteAwww...you're pets are so cute!! I really need to read the Fireman sometime!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
thanks Ronyell, The fireman is a long one. Just make sure you have a lot of time put aside ;)
DeleteI'm so glad Buddy is doing better. Tell him Booker T and Cass send doggy snuggles and kisses. I'm so impressed with your Netgalley score - I bet a lot of people, me included, wish ours were that good. Can't wait to see what you think of The Secret Life of Souls.
ReplyDeleteAww, I will. Thanks Booker T & Cass :)
DeleteI get really antsy and tend to burn out when I have too much to review so I do my best to keep my numbers low over there. Right now I have 5 out and it's stressing me.
I love the pet pics! I’m glad Buddy is doing better. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks AJ, I hope you have a fabulous reading week :)
DeleteUgh, I need to go back over old blog posts and add key words for SEO and add old book reviews to the plugin I now use but really can't be bothered.... Am also glad Buddy is better.
ReplyDeleteThat does not sound like fun at all Deborah. I wish you luck with that project ;)
DeleteI really loved The Secret Life of Souls, I'll be curious to hear what you think of it. I love your pets, they are adorable!!
ReplyDeleteSo far it's good. I'm reading it with my heart in my throat waiting something terrible to happen!
DeleteI really enjoyed Enchanted on audio. Yay for zero NetGalley. I admire your willpower. Hope the week ahead is a good one. Enjoy those kindle finds.
ReplyDeleteMy willpower is a weak and tenuous thing. My best bet is just staying away from the site altogether :)
DeleteENJOY your books.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good week for you.
I hope this week is going well.

Silver's Reviews
My Mailbox Monday
Thanks Elizabeth. Now if I could only find some time to read them :)
DeleteAw good news on the herd pup. They're all so stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am so relieved he is doing better. I feared the worst.
