New This Week

My never-ending project of archiving my reviews will continue. I'm going to start marking them Retro Reviews or something to separate them from my new reviews. I have nothing currently blogged ahead or scheduled and am flying by the seat of my pants. Next week will be a complete surprise for you and for me.

Real Life

Oops, I missed a week of Between Naps! There's been a whole lot of turkey induced napping going on around here. Demon Kitty continues to hog the camera (and the sink!) and Buddy has adjusted to his meds! His legs are no longer failing him and he hasn't had a seizure in over three weeks. He's happy and still the big 💗 he's always been. I was a little worried about personality changes with the tumor/meds but so far he's only hungrier (so much hungrier!) but still remains the sweet, tolerant soul that he's been since he became a part of our family.

Link Ups

Netgalley Binge

I again successfully avoided the siren call of Netgalley these past two weeks!  I know, I can hardly believe it myself. I think I'm at 82% or somesuch and will not request anything else until I'm caught up.

Audible & Ebook Buys

My Amazon wishlist & a few listed freebies got me again. Most of these books had price drops or were specials and somehow landed on my Ipad. I swear one of these days that thing is going to blow up from being over-stuffed! The Turner House was a daily deal over at Audible that I heard about on the Book Riot podcast a little while ago. I hope it's good seeing as I actually paid good money for it 👿

  1. I'm hoping for a good reading week! It's good news that Buddy seems better-fingers crossed! I had a whole pile of new posts planned but I think I'll just start them in January to give me more time to work on a few of them!

    1. That sounds like a plan. I wish I were half as organized. I used up all of my planned posts the last few weeks. One of these days I'll get it together!

  3. I'm trying, with mostly success, to stay away from requesting over at NG. I have so many over there to review yet! I do sometimes grab a few that are continuations of some favorite series, but thankfully those are spread out. :)

  5. I'm so glad Buddy is doing better. Tell him Booker T and Cass send doggy snuggles and kisses. I'm so impressed with your Netgalley score - I bet a lot of people, me included, wish ours were that good. Can't wait to see what you think of The Secret Life of Souls.

    1. Aww, I will. Thanks Booker T & Cass :)

I get really antsy and tend to burn out when I have too much to review so I do my best to keep my numbers low over there. Right now I have 5 out and it's stressing me.
