This blog will eventually be an organized archive/backup of mostly fiction reviews focusing on horror, romance and other genre fiction. Things will be posted but, as you can see, we're a little busy right now.
So there was a thing on Goodreads that made me feel a little excluded. This thing was hard to avoid seeing because they placed a big, ugly banner atop the website that was hard to miss. This thing was a link to their list of the Hottest Books of Summer . This list was lukewarm for me, at best, because it excluded many genres and seemed a wee bit uninspired. I put out a snarky little tweet on Twitter to voice my frustration and Toni the Reader agreed that we should create our own epic list of books that showcased our horror love so here we are! Reading under pressure sucks all of the joy out of reading. And I still have 8 left . . . No more Netgalley! I am convinced that site is run by the devil! Of my five stars reads only two of them were review books and neither were from Netgalley. Hmmmm. 2. Learn How to Use Bookstagram ...

The focus will be on dark fiction and romance with the occasional thriller tossed in that catches my eye. This week is a little slim because I accidentally included a few of this week's releases on last week's post. Oops! You can see them here . HORROR, HORROR-adjacent & THRILLERS Monumental by Adam L.G.
