Horror Reviewer Directory

👀 at this cute graphic created by Erica Robyn!

Are you a reader looking for scary book recommendations? Are you an author needing some reviews? Well, look no further than this list right here. These are the people you need to know. They live and breathe horror and LOVE to talk about it all over the internet.

Please know that this list is a work in progress. I will be adding more names and social media links as they are submitted. If you find are an active reader who reviews horror fiction regularly (at least 50% horror fiction) please submit all social media links you want included in the comments. Feel free to share this list but please credit me as the originator of the list. I will also be checking it every quarter to remove inactive blogs and those who have switched their focus from horror to other genres. If you do not review at least one horror novel a month you will be removed from the list. If I have to dig for pages to find a horror review you will not be put on the list. If you decide in the future to cover horror fiction regularly and want to be put back on the list please leave a comment. I'm also removing all blogs/accts that go inactive. It's nothing personal, I'd simply like to keep this current & horror focused.

You do not have to be affiliated with a huge blog or publication. If you review for Amazon and/or Goodreads on a regular basis and do not have a blog, that is perfectly fine. All avid horror readers who also review for free are welcome on this list!

Please alert me to any broken links you find! I try my best to periodically check them but I don't always catch them.

I will only add new people who include their complete URL's and tell me which category they prefer to be listed under. Thank you for understanding.

Authors: These are all active reader/reviewers but some may be "booked up" with ARC's at the moment. Please read their individual review policies to see if they're currently accepting books to review.

Horror Fiction Websites/Bloggers/Goodreads Reviewers

(these readers review all horror or a good portion of horror on their blogs)

Please read individual review policies before contacting these reviewers! I try to update every few months but most of us go off/on ARC hiatus and I can't keep up.

Author Bloggers

(these amazing people write books & also review them too)

(these people review horror fiction on the YouTubes AKA Booktube)

(these folks are killing it on Instagram aka Bookstagram, please note: if they have a blog that I have found they will usually be listed there instead with a link to their Bookstagram account)

Indie Bookstores

If you're looking to spend your book $ on shops that celebrate indie horror publishing, this list is for you!

Updated April 2023

  1. Everybody, I am going to delete comments regarding changes to the list as I finish tasks to make life easier on myself. Thank you all so very much for your additions/corrections and please keep them coming!

  2. Are you still adding to this? If so, I'd love to be included. I review books on Twitter & Goodreads, at least 3-5 a month, and reviews can be requested through my Twitter DMs. Thanks for your time!

  3. i'd love to be included as a reviewer! i read various genres but more horror than anything, and i always review everything i read on insta and goodreads, and sometimes on twitter. i'm also the curator of my local b&n's horror section so i'm always looking for new books to add to my section!

  4. would love to be added! i review all sorts of genres but i've recently started receiving ARCs from Tenebrous + Clash and more— i shared a review of Carson Winter's SOFT TARGETS last wednesday! i'm @spoonie.bujo on Instagram and happy to work with indie or trad-pub authors <3
