Horror Reviewers

An Easy Guide to Locating Horror Reviews Without Losing Your Mind

Are you a reader looking for scary book recommendations? Are you an author needing some reviews? Well, look no further than this list right here. These are the people you need to know. They live and breathe horror and LOVE to talk about it all over the internet.

Please know that this list is a work in progress. I will be adding more names and social media links as they are submitted. If you find an active blog/booktube/bookstagrammer that reviews horror fiction regularly (at least 50% horror fiction) please let me know with a link to the blog/website in the comments. Feel free to share this post but please credit me as the originator of the list. I will also be checking it every month or so to remove inactive blogs and those who have switched their focus from horror to other genres. If you do not review at least one true horror novel a month you will be removed from the list. If I have to dig for pages to find a horror review you will not be put on the list. If you decide in the future to cover horror fiction regularly and want to be put back on the list please leave a comment. It's nothing personal, I'd simply like to keep this horror focused.

Readers: If you do not want to be included here please let me know in the comments. If you'd like to be on the list please leave your social media links in the comments. Also let me know which category you prefer to be listed under. I had to guess on a few of you with multiple platforms. If you spot an error please let me know in the comments. Please do not sign up if you only read horror during October.

Authors: These are all active reader/reviewers but some may be "booked up" with tbr piles at the moment. You will have to review their individual review policies to see if they're currently accepting books to review.

If you discover a reviewer on this list is charging for reviews or personally profiting from reading (I'm not talking about ads and covering website fees) please contact me ASAP and they will be removed. This list is comprised of people who love the genre, not for those trying to make a buck off of reading.

It's such a great time to be a horror fiction fan, right?! If you haven't ventured over to Twitter, Booktube or Instagram or even the vast land of blogging, what the heck are you waiting for? All of these communities add so much enthusiasm and fun to the horror world. Now kiss your free time goodbye and start clicking!

  1. Everybody, I am going to delete comments regarding changes to the list as I finish tasks to make life easier on myself. Thank you all so very much for your additions/corrections and please keep them coming!

  2. Hello! I write a horror newsletter (free on Substack) called Nightmare Fuel - jumpscares.substack.com - and I edit and occasionally write for tornightfire.com, the consumer-facing blog for Tor’s new horror imprint, Nightfire. Would love for both of these to be added if possible!

    1. Can you leave a link to your review policy/submission policy? Thank you so much!

  3. https://marcsbooks.blogspot.com/

I review a lot of horror fiction

    1. Gotcha! If you have a review policy or create one please send me the link. Thank you!

  4. Hi! I review horror and sci-fi on brandithebibliophile.blogspot.com and also on instagram on @brandi_the_bibliophile. I would love to be added to your list if possible.
