PSA: I Might Not Like Your Book And That's Okay

I'm making this post a sticky post because it keeps having to be said! Sorry for yelling but seriously, it is okay if I do not like your book. I am but one person in a sea of readers. Most of who probably have better taste than I! There is no need to come on over to my review (or anyone's) at Goodreads and tell me how much of an idiot you think I am. It will not change my opinion about the book but it may change someone's opinion about you. A bad review is also never a reason To Start A Petition to force Goodreads to change their TOS to suit you. I love books, I love authors, I love to read, to review and I love nothing more than to spread the word about books. But I'm not always going to like your book. In fact, I will probably dislike at least one thing about it because I'm a bit of a jerk like that and that's okay too. There are very few books that I think are perfect. Erotica Review: Priest by Sierra Simone

3 of 5 stars This story is not based in any sort of reality. If you know that going in you’ll likely be okay. But I make no guarantees. Tyler is a handsome fellow who suffers a tragedy in his youth and later decides to become a priest. The way I read it (and I could have read it wrong), it seems he did this not because of any true calling but to prove some point to someone that all priests aren’t sexual predators and life ruiners. Umm, sure, okay. Why not just become a counselor and truly help the victims? This all makes little sense to me but why ask why, you know? I suppose if he had gone that route the sex in Priest would’ve been less kinkier? So there is that and that is definitely something. Sooo, when this studly guy in the priest outfit first spies luscious, ruby red lips through his confessional window, he’s aflame with a desire that will not settle down. It's Almost Friday! Awesome Author Alert

How has your week been? Mine's been filled with lovely book surprises like this one in from author Megan Hart. I received an ARC for her latest book from Netgalley and they only sent me a partial book. What is up with that? So I did what I do and I wrote up a complainy   review for the partial book at GR. Megan Hart saw it, sent me a note via Twitter asking me if I'd like to read the whole thing and then she went and sent me all of the below books. How amazingly gracious is she? Especially considering the fact that my review wasn't so great. Look at all this goodness? I cannot wait to dig in after I finish up my review commitments.
