If you like creepy crawly B movie horror comedies (and why wouldn't you?!) give this one a go. Bee Tornado by Chris Sorensen Released July 2023 Source: Received for review consideration Goodreads  | Amazon Derek Stratton, a broke and widowed storm chaser, is trying his best to support his daughter Mel. Their lives take a dangerous turn when a colossal tornado releases a swarm of prehistoric bees from the Colorado soil, plunging them into a treacherous fight for survival. Derek finds an unexpected partnership with an eccentric bee expert and his sister-in-law, a local cop. Together, they embark on a harrowing race against the clock to rescue Mel from the Bee Tornado. My 2 Cents for Free! Please keep these wild creature features coming! Sometimes a reader (me, okay, it’s me) wants something creepy crawly, sorta ridiculous but maybe completely plausible too . . . Bee Tornado is all of these things and just like Suckerville , the pages fly! Things start off when two young dudes decide ...

Another five-star read. Who am I?! Suckerville by Chris Sorensen Released June 2023 Source: Received for Review Consideration Goodreads   | Amazon A CREATURE FEATURE WITH TEETH... The Hungry Ones by Chris Sorensen Book Review

Book #2 in "The Messy Man" series doesn't disappoint! The Hungry Ones by Chris Sorensen Released May 2019 Dark Fiction   |   Goodreads   |   Amazon   Source: Received for Review Consideration At the outskirts of Maple City sits the Crossroads Motel, a throwback to the days when the motor lodge was king. Two years ago, the motel was the site of an act so brutal that its buildings were left to rot. Jessie Voss, however, sees promise in the Crossroad's bare bones and buys it up, determined to breathe new life into the place. When the Larson family shows up on her doorstep, road-weary and desperate for a break, Jessie offers them lodging, even though her grand opening is still a week away. But the arrival of guests awakens the motel, and Jessie soon finds herself host to both the living and the dead.    My 2 Cents For Free! THE HUNGRY ONES picks up soon after the events that tortured the littl...

TBR Thursday (3)

I skipped doing this last week because my reading time has been sliced down to 20 minutes a day the past few weeks. I hope I can make up for all of those lost pages tonight before falling asleep again! Up next in the TBR:  Next up is  VIOLET by Scott Thomas who wrote  KILL CREEK . There's been a lot of buzz and good reviews surrounding this one so I'm excited. Also up soon is THE DEAD GIRLS CLUB by Damien Angelica Walters. Sorry for the crap picture. Daylight savings time stole my photo time *cries*. Currently Reading: THE HUNGRY ONES by Chris Sorensen is my current read. I'm only about 85 pages into it because this week has been exhausting. But I'm enjoying the motel hell plotline! It picks up after the events of the THE NIGHTMARE ROOM so if you haven't read that one yet, you might want to do so before starting this one. What's up next for you?
