New This Week
More reviews. Shocking, I know. I have tentatively scheduled reviews by authors Maggie Osborne, Anne Morrow Lindbergh, Jeff Strand and Agatha Christie. I'll likely have another Got My Eye On which highlights the blogs and books I discovered while poking around the internets. Maybe they'll be some other bookish stuff too. I am not nearly as organized as most bloggers and wing my way through life but I'm trying to get it together.
Real Life
Linking Up
My tbr continues to grow thanks to all of the covers and reviews that tempt me online. I'm linking this post up to Stacking The Shelves, Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday & It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
Netgalley Binge
I did not successfully avoid the siren call of Netgalley this week and was approved for these two. No more Netgalley for me until I am caught up!
Audible & Ebook Buys
When I accepted a free audio for review from Audible I didn't realize they had tacked on a "free"membership until I had already hit the checkout button. It's my fault for being too quick with the purchase button but still . . . sneaky! They did give me two "free" credits for unwittingly signing on so I used them. I doubt I'll be keeping myself enrolled for $14.95 a month (for one credit!) because I use Overdrive and that seems pretty hefty a price for one book but I'll take the free gifts. Beware people.
Thanks Paperbackswap!
I hope you all have a fabulous week of reading and let me know if you've read any of these! I love to hear from you and will always visit you in return.
Oh my gosh. All that herd babe cuteness. <3
ReplyDelete:) They do brighten up the place!
DeleteHugs to Buddy. Hopefully the meds will even out soon. I need to start Nightmares soon. Thanks to your enabling, I'm also looking into the Hap and Leonard series.
ReplyDeleteThanks Barb, he's still super shaky on his feet. I may have to give the vet a ring if it keeps for another week. Ha, I am glad to share the Hap & Leonard love :)
DeleteEnjoy your current reads and those coming up! :) Happy reading!

Week in Review
Thanks Stormi!
DeleteAwww...your pets are so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
Thanks Ronyell! They make the planet a happier place.
DeletePoor Buddy...I hope things get better for him soon. I keep getting offered a free Audible book from Amazon but I could not afford that amount of money monthly so I keep turning it down! These companies can be very sneaky with 'free' offers!
ReplyDeleteThanks chucklesthescot. Yeah, that Audible ticked me off with their latest tactic. I know it's my fault for not proofing my shopping list before hitting "buy" but it still rubbed me the wrong way that they just tacked it on like that.
DeleteI'm more surprised than anyone that I've kept my Audible subscription. I'm a convert!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're enjoying it! They do have some great titles and make it so easy to buy them :)
DeleteI added six new review books last week. I apparently have no self-restraint. I think I'm somewhere in the 30s with review books right now though they do stretch out until April for release dates. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, that's not too bad. I usually choose books that are all due around the same time and I read painfully slow.
DeleteYour pets are such cuties!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed The Fireman and I hope you do too.
Thanks Lindsey. So far so good!
DeleteYour pets are ADORABLE! Good luck withe medication, that must be stressful:-0
ReplyDeleteThanks Tammy. It is stressful but it seems to be helping. The side effects though aren't so great.
DeleteHanging out on the toaster...sounds just like a cat! I like Audible but haven't had a membership in a long time. It is usually cheaper to just buy their books when they have a sale than to be a member. It gives me an excuse to stock up when things do go on sale. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYeah, if they lowered their monthly rate or added more book credits in I'd keep the membership but I can't spend $15 bucks for one audio when I can easily find free ones at my library.
