LOHF Day 1: Show me your "Lady Stack"

It's day #1 of our Ladies of Horror Fiction challenge and I hope you can join us to showcase horror fiction written by the ladies. See the rest of the posts by using the #LadiesOfHorrorFiction hashtag at Twitter & Instagram.

Here's my picture of the day:

My stack features some tbr scary tales that I discovered lurking in my basement when I went looking for Angela Carter's THE BLOODY CHAMBER. I didn't find it but I know it's down there somewhere. . .

    1. Thanks, Tammy. You can participate whenever you have time. I had to do most of my pics in July in order to participate because I knew I'd get busy and flake out.

  6. I was hoping you would have recommendations. I haven't read horror in so long that I don't know of many authors period never mind women.

I'll have to see if I have anything that's considered horror on my shelf. I'll probably only get one book in but it's more than I would have lol

    2. I'm reading Jac Jemc's THE GRIP OF IT right now. It's a haunted house tale dripping in atmosphere. I'm loving it so far.

    3. I haven't looked into it but while doing my Blog Name in books tag I think The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff & maybe Sunshine by Robin McKinley (that would be a re-read and it's vampires) would work & I have them right on my shelf!
