What We've Been Up To

Whoops, I missed a week. I see I am already back to my never able to stick to any kind of schedule ways. Sorry about that but that's who I am apparently.

Well, I've had to swap out a few days of 80 Day Obsession with Yoga With Adrienne when I tweaked my back on leg day lifting too heavy of a weight with less than stellar form so I will not be finished this program in 80 days but I'm still determined to stick to it even if my body is not cooperating. So far I've lost 2 pounds and was feeling much stronger in my legs/core until I went and hurt my back. I'm not doing the food plan because I'd rather die, lol, and am focused on improving my back/core strength.

I tried to take a lovely picture of my Bailey but he was being his usual "leave me the eff alone" grumpy self and this is the best I could get. Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day and did something selfish for yourself. My husband was out of town, the kids went to dinner with their gf/bf so I got to read in peace! It was bliss.

What's Distracting Me?

We saw went and wasted our time on Winchester House. Thankfully we had two free tickets but it was dreadful and very disappointing. I went to see the house and didn't particularly care if the scares were duds but they hardly showed any of the house. Don't waste your money or your time. I was forewarned but did not listen. That'll teach me.

I've also been watching the just as dreadful "Celebrity" Big Brother but don't tell anyone. It such a mindless time waster and who are these "celebrities" anyway? I only recognized three of them. The bar is low.

What have you all been up to?!

Comments

  1. OMG! Look at all of those good books. I'm going to have to do some shopping soon. I'm rewatching American Horror from Season 1 right now while waiting for new episodes of some shows I've been waiting for.

    1. I should rewatch that season. It was and probably always will be my favorite.

  2. Sorry you hurt yourself. Exercise is dangerous :) In my opinion, freebies don't even count so you did good this week (or 2). Have a great week!

    1. Seriously, why do I bother doing it?! I'm feeling better now so I'm back at it but it's bound to happen again. And you are right, freebies don't count! No one can see them but me, right?

  3. Bailey is adorable. I've been watching celebrity big brother too. I was really surprised that these were the so called celebrities they got.

    1. I call them the "Z" list. It's vaguely entertaining even I don't know who they are.

  4. I spent the weekend organising my bookshelves and my body is suffering for it now! Plus I had to get the washing done, the bins emptied, and various other chores. I'm feeling sore and grumpy so you have my sympathy!

    1. Aww, take it easy Chuckles! I need to organize my bookshelves too. It's a disaster area right now.

  5. Oh no! Winchester was horrible. I was going to wait for the rental anyway but that's sad to know. I grabbed some of the same freebies - couldn't resist the zombie one. Hey, reading on Valentine's Day sounds like a great way to spend it. Also LOVE the pic of Bailey. Hope you're enjoying UNSUB.

    1. So stinky. Wait for a .99 day at Redbox. It was so dull. I can't seem to resist the freebies even when I should.

  7. I hurt my back working out too. I wish I could say it was with heavy weights but it was 5 pounds. I just moved the wrong way though and yikes lol I seem to be able to ride my bike though so I'm sticking to that until it heals.
