Friday Reads (same as last week)
Has it ever been a total crap week. A relative passed away super suddenly, work-stress is still high and we've been stuck in a heatwave.
Anyhow, I'm still reading the same two books as I was at this time last week. Tonight, if I can, I am sitting down with Patrick here and will attempt to force my family into watching a horror film after I finally finish Providence by Caroline Kepnas!
Talk to me at Twitter and/or Instagram as I plan to leave the laptop closed again :)

You guys have any fun plans?
Sorry for the crap week :( Hope next week is better and you get to some new reads!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of your loss.
ReplyDeleteI'm very curious about this horror thing you have planned. I did see a bit of stuff on twitter and excited to see what's up.
It's a cool idea and I wish them well but due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, I had to bow out this morning :(
DeleteLooking forward to hearing about the horror event! Sorry it was such a bad week, hope next week is better:-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tammy. It was a reader hosted award for small press and indie titles. I left the judging panel this morning.
DeleteSorry for your loss. Hope the rest of your month fares better. I can't wait for the announcement!
ReplyDeletePatrick looks pretty chilled out there! I'm sorry you've had such a terrible week. I hope you're doing ok. I'm intrigued by this ghorror thing!
ReplyDeleteghorror? Maybe I just invented a sub genre...!
DeletePatrick does look chill! I'm working on a book I really meant to have completed by now myself, but the space zombies took forever to show up and I didn't want to keep reading it if I wasn't going to get space zombies.
ReplyDelete(They finally showed up.)
Hope next week is better! :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteI started out reading horror but these days I read romance and watch horror movies.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It has been crazy hot here as well but we have finally caught a break. The horror fiction project sounds interesting. I hope you have had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your crappy week and condolences on your loss.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what is happening to me but I don't feel like doing anything but play in my garden - or look at it from inside when it gets hot lol
I really need to snap out of it!

ReplyDeleteI hope the horror film watching will make your day better :)
