LOHF Day 1: Show me your "Lady Stack"
It's day #1 of our Ladies of Horror Fiction challenge and I hope you can join us to showcase horror fiction written by the ladies. See the rest of the posts by using the #LadiesOfHorrorFiction hashtag at Twitter & Instagram.
Here's my picture of the day:
My stack features some tbr scary tales that I discovered lurking in my basement when I went looking for Angela Carter's THE BLOODY CHAMBER. I didn't find it but I know it's down there somewhere. . .

Look at all those books and it's only day #1!! What on earth should I read first? My wallet is going to be crying very soon. If you've read any of these featured books let me know your thoughts in the comments.
A House Divided looks awesome. That's the one I'd try first if it were me. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I love haunted houses!
DeleteOh wow it's August! I want to participate in this Instagram challenge but I'll have to do it after work. I love your lady stack!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tammy. You can participate whenever you have time. I had to do most of my pics in July in order to participate because I knew I'd get busy and flake out.
DeleteVery horrorlicious looking books! I'm really busy now so I can't join this but I'll be popping around to people's post to see what's happening and share.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you'll be checking out the posts and hope you find some books!
DeleteAw, hey, that's me. :) I'm so excited about today!! My heart is full.
ReplyDeleteIt's been going so well my fellow #LadiesofHorrorFiction!
DeleteI'll be reading Ania Ahlborn's The Shuddering this month and Christa Faust's Final Destination 3. Both are new to me authors. I'll be doing my horror month in October!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is awesome!
DeleteI was hoping you would have recommendations. I haven't read horror in so long that I don't know of many authors period never mind women.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to see if I have anything that's considered horror on my shelf. I'll probably only get one book in but it's more than I would have lol
Karen @ For What It's Worth
That's ok, do what you can or just nab some recommendations. We're easy :)
DeleteI'm reading Jac Jemc's THE GRIP OF IT right now. It's a haunted house tale dripping in atmosphere. I'm loving it so far.
DeleteI haven't looked into it but while doing my Blog Name in books tag I think The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff & maybe Sunshine by Robin McKinley (that would be a re-read and it's vampires) would work & I have them right on my shelf!
DeleteAwesome! I can't wait to see your pics :)
DeleteI love discovering new books so off to check out more posts!
ReplyDeleteYay, I hope you find something!
DeleteGreat lady stack. Maybe you will find the missing book some day. lol
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental
I sure hope so *sniff*. I hate it when they disappear like that.
DeleteI haven't read Horror in a long time but I watch Horror movies all the time. I am loving that doll and those books look great.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary. I love horror movies too. I should start reviewing them again.
DeleteThese look great! I definitely need to read more horror very soon.
ReplyDeleteThe creepy time is nearly upon us :)
