TBR Thursday (7)

It's been a little bit since I've done one of these because I have been horribly distracted but I've been doing my best to attempt to read each day and I haven't been bringing new books into the house so I don't have that guilt at least! I hope your reading lives have been better than mine.

Here's what's possibly up next in my reading life (always subject to change based on mood and general flakiness):

I'm super excited to read both of these because they've received excellent reviews from people who read much faster than I ever will. Both are dark fiction and I might have to sneak something light and sexy in there as a breather - I just don't know what yet. If you have any recs let me know in the comments.

Currently Reading:

In Darkness Delight: Creatures of the Night is a (so far) solid collection of creepy crawly monsters with some nice surprises. It's perfect for me right now because I seem only able to read in short bursts before my mind flits away and decides it no longer feels like focusing. It features a few familiar but mostly new-to-me authors. I'll get a review up when I finish that focuses on my favorites.

I hope your week is going excellently and that all of your reads are five-star books! ♥

  1. All I've managed to read in the last two weeks are re-reads of Harry Potter! I just don't feel like reading anything else at the moment!

  2. Once I get into a book I'm usually okay, but making myself choose a new book to read and actually open it up and start reading has been harder than usual. What a strange year it's been!

  3. I've only been able to read in short bursts too. That sounds creepy. Hope you like the others as well.

  4. That cover to In Darkness Delight is hard to look at. (It's awesome.) I read Whispers in the Dark. I hope you like it. I've heard great things about The Only Good Indians, but I haven't read it yet. Happy reading!

    1. Thank you! I'm looking forward to both of them but still haven't finished my current book (ugh, my easily distracted brain).
