I read some great books in June and am keeping my fingers crossed that my streak continues into July. Five of them were from my physical TBR pile but sadly two of those ended up being DNF's. One book wasn't for me, one tried to kill my dog and the last was just a mess.

Just like June, I'm hoping to catch up on more of my review copies, both audio & print, and am hoping to have a buddy read with my friend Char's Horror Corner. We'll see how that goes as the start to this month has been not so good and I am a terrible Buddy Read partner! What are you all up to?

  1. Sorry you ended up with a couple of DNF books. It happens. Hope you find a few good books this month.

  2. Looks like you had a great month. They can't all be winners, but you do have some good looking books that I will be checking out further, especially King and love the woman in the window cover. It speaks to me. lol

  3. I am almost done with The Outsider and really enjoying it. I agree with Eh on The Woman n the Window. I didn't love Providence but hope you like it better!!

  4. I've never tried buddy reading but I'm pretty sure I would be awful at it! I'm not that fast a reader and I'd be behind, lol. Looks like some really good books for July! I'm going to check out Darktown, I love that cover:-)

  5. Tried to kill your dog! No! It does look like you had one fantastic month! I haven't read The Outsider or The Shining yet. Although I have both on my really need to read soon list! Hope July is just a good. Good luck with your buddy read.

  6. Three DNF's are disappointing but at least you were able to get rid and move onto something else. I don't seem to DNF as much these days-maybe I'm getting better at choosing the good stuff!

  7. I caught up on all the books I wanted to read so yay! but I feel like this year, I don't remember anything I'm reading.

I'm not sure if it's my memory or bleh books. lol
