Another fun read by David Sodergren. My 2 Cents for Free! The Haar by David Sodergren Released May 2022 Source: Spotify Listen See more @ Goodreads Aww this turned out to be a sweet monster romance with a bunch of gore and features the best salty older woman main character I've read in a good long while. When a company terrorizes a small town of people into leaving their beloved homes so they can build a disgusting money-making venture on the beautiful land, only one old woman named Muriel who is armed with something that's dragged itself out of the sea, fights back and it's gloriously gruesome. This was great fun. If you hate corporations that care more about profit than people and the environment, despise Richie Rich entitled men and love a good old fashioned love story this is a book for you. February Wrap-Up

February 2017 New Reviews Posted (clicking on cover will bring you to my review) February in Review: ♦ I read 3 Short Horror Collections which was 2 too many, if you ask me. It threw me into a mini-slump  ♦ 2 Horror Novels  ♦ 1 Monster-porn  ♦ 1 Scifi Erotica ♦ I'm on track for my Goodreads Challenge but I feel like I didn't read very much. I blame the tv and stress. ♦ Only three were audiobooks so I'm doing better than last month where all but one were audiobooks (ugh so much slacking was done in January). ♦ I continue to be a failure at DNFing . The only thing I skimmed/DNF'd were two short stories in Five Stories High because they weren't meant for me. Reviews in the Works: Books TBR in March This month I'm going a little heavier on the romance because January & February were horrorific. Have you read any of 'em?
